This charming holiday property is part of a large stone built barn sympathetically converted into three holiday cottages providing comfortable self catering accommodationIt is situated in an imposing position at the foot of Blencathra with stunning views across the valley to Threlkeld Common and Clough HeadThe start of a walk up Blencathra can commence from the front door of the propertyThere is a pub close by offering homemade bar meals, ales and is welcoming to pets and children.
There are two more great country pubs in Threlkeld only a mile away, both serving good food and fine alesThe market town of Keswick is just 5 miles away, reachable by car along the A66 or by a lovely walk, part of which follows the old railway line with wooded areas and passes by the Victorian iron railway bridgesThe imposing mountain of Skiddaw is also only a short distance awayThe large private patio area to the front of the cottage has wonderful views across the fells and is south facing.
