The historic walled town of Wareham (4.5 miles) has some excellent pubs and restaurants, and you can hire boats and kayaks to explore the riverLocal attractions include the Tank Museum (10 miles), Monkey World (8.5 miles), the picturesque village of Corfe Castle (8 miles) and the Victorian seaside town of Swanage (13.5 miles).
