Stone Place Cottage is located in the small, rural village of Shorwell on the south west of the island, which is only a three mile drive from the shingle beaches of BrighstoneShorwell village is just a 5 minute walk away from the cottage and benefits from a traditional old public house with a streamThe village is ideally located for walkers and cyclists with its rolling countryside and many footpaths and trails to exploreThe market town of Newport, often considered the capital of the island, and the medieval castle of Carisbrooke, are within five and a half miles.

There is a playground in the village of Shorwell for young children and also a playing fieldThere is a regular bus service and village shop within five minutesThe traditional cottage stands proud with its stone built structure and large wooden doorIt has retained original character features such as exposed beams.
